Description
The House of Carlo Goldoni is located in the San Polo district and is the birthplace of the famous Venetian playwright. Converted into a museum, it preserves furniture, documents, and objects related to Goldoni’s life and works, offering a glimpse into 18th-century Venice.
It’s an interesting stop for those who want to learn about Venetian cultural history and one of its most important figures.
Opening hours:
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (last admission at 3:30 PM)
Museum closing procedures begin 20 minutes before the indicated closing time.
Closed on Wednesdays.
**Special evening openings:**
From May 1 to September 30, 2025, every Friday and Saturday
Open until 5:00 PM (last admission at 4:30 PM).
